Jeana is a member of the firm’s Trial Services Group and focuses her practice on litigating labor and employment and general commercial disputes, including wage and hour issues, discrimination and harassment claims, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, breach of contract claims, and intellectual property matters for public sector, private sector and tribal clients. She regularly appears before state and federal courts in Maine and Massachusetts, as well as administrative agencies and boards, handling administrative and trial work as well as appellate work. Jeana is an effective advocate and a principled negotiator, which enables her to achieve practical and positive outcomes for her clients. Jeana is a frequent speaker at conferences and trainings on employment law and liability issues.
Jeana is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law. While in law school, she served as an Editor for the Connecticut Law Review, and worked as an extern for the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, as a teaching assistant for Lawyering Process and Contract Drafting, and as a student attorney for the Mediation Clinic and the Energy and Environmental Law Clinic. She received the Pro Bono Certificate of Recognition from the University of Connecticut School of Law for contributing over one hundred hours of volunteer legal services during her time as a law student.
